There’s plenty to do in and around the city at any time of the year, though the most comfortable time to visit is likely March to May. Spring is arriving and the summer and fall crowds have gone. But obviously, if you’re headed to Munich for Oktoberfest, you’ll want to arrive in October. If this is the case, book at least 6 months in advance!
